چکیده
Abstract Quercetin is a natural flavonoid with higher antioxidant capacity and anti-inflammatory. Tall fescue [Schedonorus arundinaceus (Schreb.) Dumort; E+] perennial cool-season grass for grazing livestock in North America. Fescue infected the endophyte (Neotyphodium coenophialum) produces chemicals toxic to livestock. However, impact of quercetin on alleviating toxicosis has received only limited attention. The objective this experiment was investigate mitigation effect toxicosis-induced cardiotoxicity lambs. A total number 24 Dorper lambs were randomized four groups (n = 6 per group) grazed tall seed 42 days. results indicated that treatment alleviated induced cardiovascular histopathology injury (Fig 1), inhibited increased trend creatine kinase activities, serum prolactin concentrations 2). Meanwhile, mitigated oxidative damage by decreasing MDA H2O2 contents, increasing enzymes (T-SOD, Cu-Zn SOD, CAT, T-AOC) activities 3). evidently enhanced down-regulation phase I, II, II detoxification gene expression relieve 4-6). Moreover, triggered NF-kB signaling pathway ameliorate inflammation 7-9). attenuated cardiac mitochondrial impaired via Parkin/PINK modulated mediated mitophagy PGC1-α biogenesis 10-13). Collectively, our findings demonstrated explicated potential protection against toxicity.

Tall Fescue Toxicosis
widely used forage crop. It is insect and nematode resistant, tolerates poor soil and climatic conditions well and has a long growing season. Unfortunately, tall fescue also has a downside. Most tall fescue in the state is infected with a fungal endophyte, Neotyphodium coenophialum (formerly called Acremonium coenophialum) that is toxic to animals. Tall fescue was brought to this country from E...

Tall fescue (Schedonorus phoenix (Scop.) Holub) is a cool-season bunchgrass that grows throughout the eastern half of the United States and in the Pacific northwestern region of the country. It is estimated that over 90% of tall fescue pastures are infected with the fungal endophyte Neotyphodium coenophialum (Bacon and Siegel, 1988; Glenn et al., 1996). Tall fescue is native to Europe and was f...
متن کاملPyruvate induces mitochondrial biogenesis by a PGC-1α independent mechanism
Oxidative cells increase mitochondrial mass in response to stimuli such as changes in energy demand or cellular differentiation. This plasticity enables the cell to adapt dynamically in order to achieve necessary oxidative capacity. However, the pathways involved in triggering mitochondrial biogenesis are poorly defined. The present study examines the impact of altering energy provision on mito...
متن کاملRegulation of PGC-1α, a nodal regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis.
Mechanisms responsible for energy management in the cell and in the whole organism require a complex network of transcription factors and cofactors. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator 1α (PGC-1α) has emerged as a master regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis and function, thus becoming a crucial metabolic node. We present an overview of the mechanisms by which PGC-1α is reg...
